About me:

I’m Hayley! I'm the owner and artist behind my taxidermy studio here in SE Portland, Oregon.

I began my journey in taxidermy in 2016, in a big game-focused studio for four years. Since then, I have continued my education through self-directed studies and by traveling across the country to learn from world renowned taxidermists. I am proud to call myself an award winning taxidermist, as I have competed state-wide and received multiple awards for my work over the years. I am also on the board for the state association. To say taxidermy is my life would be stating it lightly.

I specialize in birds as well as small mammals. I'm always seeking new opportunities to grow as an artist, refine my techniques, and expand my knowledge. I believe there is always more to learn. Continually improving my craft and providing the highest quality work for my clients remains my greatest motivation.

For me, taxidermy is more than preservation—it's about honoring the beauty, individuality, and spirit of every animal entrusted to my care. It's a privilege I never take for granted.
